A Wedding Card today using another fabulous digi from KennyK - Wedding Dance.
I've used this wee digi on loads of cards and they've always been popular with the receipients.
This time I've used an Aqua Blue colour which is a lovely summery colour and I've used
the Spellbinders background die Botanic Swirls which I have previously struggled with to cut -
however,
my Grand Calibur machine was making some very strange noises
so to save the bother of having to send it off to be fixed - I took it apart,
as I'm not normally one to be beaten by a few screws.
I'm pleased to say it was really easy to fix as there are only 4 screws and a few clips that can come off.
Three of the Four screws that hold the turning mechanism had come out and one of the clips.
No wonder it was so noisy, mind you some of them were probably always loose and I'm pleased to announce, it's working better now than ever, yeahhhhh!!!
Still not the easiest of dies to cut though, as it has to be well taped down and it takes
several passes through the machine to get a clean cut and to emboss with out any movement.
This card uses approximately one and a half sheets of the cut background.
Images are printed onto 300gsm good quality card stock and I've then paper pieced the
dress and veil in the same White Centura Pearl as the rest of the card so the gleam on the image
matches the lovely gleam on the Pearl card stock.
